FAQ

How will I access the Site?

:After booking you will receive an email that has directions on how best to find us, access codes for both the main entrance & dog friend and about parking. If you have any further questions prior to your session you can contact us directly.

Is there onsite parking available?

: Yes. There is designated onsite parking for 1/2 cars. This has Tails & Tractors signage & is located by the large grey barn.

How far is the field from the carpark?

: The field is approximately a 5 minute walk along the farm track. Please note this may not be suitable for clients with mobility issues.

Is there a dog waste bin available onsite?

; Yes. The dog waste bin is green and is located at the designated parking. We ask guests to bring poo bags along, however some are provided in the field if needed.

Cleaning up after you dog allows us to keep the site fresh for all our clients.

Does the site have access to water?

:Yes. In the main yard there is an outside tap which you are welcome to use. This is located behind our wooden bin store next to the customer toilet. Bringing your own bottle to transport water to the field is helpful, however a communal one is provided at the tap & water bowl in the field.

Are there toilet facilities onsite?

: Yes. The customer toilet is located behind the wooden bin tidy in the main yard at the front of the farm.

Is the field lit?

: No. Currently the field is not lit. Our Winter opening times will change to reflect the shorter days & a torch is advised if you are arrive for the first/last slots of the day during these months.

Will other dogs be onsite when I arrive?

: Sessions are organised so that there is a 10 minute window between clients. This prevents overlap, however as the farm is working and open to overnight guests, there may be other dogs onsite.

To ensure that the farm can be enjoyed by all, dogs must remain on a lead unless using the secure field.

Please do not arrive early/leave late or if you do, remain in your car to allow for the previous client to leave.

Are large/banned breeds allowed to use the site?

: We welcome all dogs to the farm as long as all rules associated with that breed, insurance, muzzle etc are adhered to.

Can I cancel/change my appointment if I cannot attend?

: Yes. All bookings are non-refundable but can be amended via the booking system free of charge.

If in the event that we have to close the field due to weather etc, all clients will be entitled to a refund or to move their appointments.
